Daily Vitamin "Training"

Training

2 Timothy 3:16-17(TMSG)

16Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way.
17Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.

Ever wondered why certain Scripture's, verses or even whole books are in the Bible? I have! like numbers and all of the genealogies some times it just seems boring, but when you look at the whole you can see the picture. All the begat this one to that one, was the brother of this one or the uncle of that person. Have begun to make sence to me, so we can see that the hero's of the Bible were just people like us. Not much different they had whack things they did or family members that seemed really out there. They were people just like us different times with different circumstances, all needing God to guide them through this journey of life. So every word was put in the Bible to help us train for the task that God had for each of us. We can train our bodies to do all kinds of crazy things, run fast, lift tremendous amounts of weight, jump high, but how many of train our minds to do what God has asked us to do. “It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God’s mouth.” (Mat.4-4) So lets begin training camp today on our knee's in God's presence. then spend time in the Scripture's to hear what he has for us today. Then we can be a blessing to those around us, Sir Gregory

Let today be ...

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilitie s that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
