Galatians 5:25-26(TMSG) Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives.That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.

When we say we are Spirit filled what does that really mean? I hear all the time that a certain church or group of people say they are Spirit filled, but what does that look like? Over the past few decades there has been many debates about this subject. Some say you have to speak in tongues, others say when you get saved you are filled with the Spirit. Here in Galatians 5 Paul talks about a life filled with the Spirit not fulfilling the lust of the flesh. He goes in to detail he even talks about the fruits of a life in the flesh and a life in the Spirit., and what that looks like. Then he say's in verse 25 Since you chose this life in the Spirit let it not be just an Idea. Wow! what a statement, is it truly a life we live or just an idea?
